Although we have finished the book, I pray the book hasn't "finished" us. Lysa has penned some great truths and principles for us and I pray you will find yourself returning and revisiting your book. Be encouraged and strengthened in Him.
Psalm 107:17-19 can be our encouragement.
They cried (called out) to the Lord and in their trouble and He saved them from their distress. He sent forth His word and healed them, He rescued them from their destructions (pit)God so desires to rescue us, deliver us, heal us. Our part - to cry out, acknowledge our need for Him, allow Him to be our rescuer.
We need not walk alone.

Amen and amen! Even though we are done reading this book, I know that I am not done with it. I need to list out some of the scriptures to memorize, come up with a healthy eating plan that I can live with, start exercising, and change my journey to one of growing closer to Christ rather than focusing on my jean size. I am a person who wants to see results and results take time, so I need to grasp that this is a lifetime journey not a journey for the next 6 months or year.
Yes I could not agree with you more Lisha. My sentiments exactly. I feel I have taken a few steps in the right direction by doing things in moderation but I still need to make a plan I can stick to and get to it. I also need to exercise more. I do go for walks but I need to get my heart rate going to get a good workout. I will keep you ladies in my prayers and I hope you will do the same for me. I am looking forward to drawing near to God through Jesus Christ on this journey of life. God bless you and looking forward to the next study as I continue to work on this one.
